Simultaneous extensions and additions were provided to this property located in open countryside close to Biggleswade, which had at one time been a rural public house.
The extensions comprised vaulted first floor bedroom accommodation, vaulted ground floor bedroom and living rooms and a zinc-roofed, brick-built orangery. External materials combine natural slate, timber cladding and render on timber-frame construction.
Set opposite a gravel drive are a pair of hand-built outbuildings – workshop, store and double garage. Black-stained timber cladding and hipped clay tile roofs lend the buildings a robust and durable character.
